Chief Justice Hennessey
The Chief Justice Edward F. Hennessey Summer Internship Fund
In December 2012, MHLAC converted the Hennessey Summer Fellowship into the Hennessey Summer Internship Fund to offer multiple students the opportunity to intern with MHLAC during the summer. As interns, students have the opportunity to work on issues involving the field of public interest, mental health law.
The Chief Justice Edward F. Hennessey Summer Fellowship
The Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee established the Hennessey Summer Fellowship at its 35th anniversary celebration on October 2, 2008 in the John Adams Courthouse, Supreme Judicial Court. The Hennessey Fellowship honors the former Chief Justice and perpetuates the memory of his many contributions to protect the due process rights of all citizens, including those involved with the mental health system.
